ULTEM 9085 is an advanced thermoplastic technopolymer composed of polyetherimide (PEI) and polycarbonate (PC). It is characterized by exceptional resistance to hydrolysis and acidic solutions, as well as high mechanical and thermal performance, with flame resistance and extinguishing properties. These properties enable its use in automotive, railway, and aerospace sectors for components such as brackets, air intakes, electrical enclosures, air filter boxes, and ducts due to its good resistance to hydrocarbons, alcohols, and aqueous solutions.
