Standard 316L, processed using DMLS technology and standard layer height, is an austenitic stainless steel with additions of molybdenum, chromium, and nickel, known for its excellent corrosion resistance in both aqueous and chemical environments. This alloy is widely used in sectors such as engineering, medicine, and the food industry, where corrosion resistance is crucial. 316L also offers good temperature resistance and ease of machinability, making it ideal for a variety of applications, including components for chemical plants, surgical instruments, and parts exposed to harsh environmental conditions.
