Maraging Steel 1.2709 is a maraging steel characterized by a martensitic crystalline structure and is strengthened through aging heat treatment, from which it gets its name "maraging." This low-carbon alloy presents high strength and hardness properties obtained through the precipitation of intermetallic compounds. Maraging Steel 1.2709 features excellent mechanical properties, high fatigue resistance, and good machinability. It is used in a variety of applications, including tool inserts, molds, dies, and high-strength components.
