Duplex 2205 is a duplex stainless steel that offers an excellent combination of mechanical strength and corrosion resistance, superior to austenitic stainless steels. With its high resistance to stress corrosion cracking (SCC) and wear, it is widely used in harsh environments such as the marine, chemical, petrochemical, and food industries, as well as in heat exchangers.
