AISI 420 is a high-carbon martensitic stainless steel known for its high hardness and wear resistance. With a chromium content of 12-14%, it offers good corrosion resistance, especially after heat treatment. It is widely used in the production of knives, surgical instruments, and valve components. Traditional CNC milling allows for precise machining, achieving hard and well-finished surfaces.
